Villa Cessasilva is located in a quiet little street, a few hundred meters from the center of the world-famous town of Sarlat-la-Canéda and just 300 meters from your French bakery. An absolute opportunity to explore this beautiful city on foot. Sarlat is also a perfect base to discover all the beautiful things the Dordogne has to offer. This very spacious holiday home has been completely renovated and is very comfortable (including air conditioning), it is also tastefully decorated and still has the classic appearance of a typical traditional French house. Villa Cessasilva has a private and beautifully landscaped garden with a lovely heated swimming pool (open from 26 April - temperature heated to around 25 degrees), a covered spacious outdoor terrace with lounge and BBQ. Here you can enjoy your holidays to the fullest!

Inside

Large modern living room with open kitchen (40m2) with direct access to the terrace and your wonderful private swimming pool. A lovely ensuite bedroom is located downstairs, ideal for older people or if you want to be a bit more private. There are a total of 4 bedrooms on the first floor. Outside

The garden of Cessasilva is super quiet, completely private and has a heated private swimming pool of 4 x 8 meters. The swimming pool is protected by an alarm which guarantees the safety of small children. There is enough parking space around the house. At the swimming pool is a covered area with lounge area, large dining table and BBQ. Dogs are very welcome. The garden is also completely dog proof fenced.

Surroundings

The beautiful center of Sarlat-la-Canéda with its numerous restaurants and shops is a real "must" for every visitor to the Dordogne. But the beautiful towns such as Roque-Gageac and Domme are only a short distance from your stay. There is so much to see and experience in the Dordogne that it is impossible to discover this during one stay. You just have to book a next time to be able to experience and see everything…

We fully enjoyed our holiday in the ideally located house in Sarlat-la-Canéda.
It was great that we could walk to the bakery and the center on foot.
We have been to the restaurant every day, very nice not to have to take the car all the time.
The pancake house 'les Tulipes' by Johanna Van den Brink is nearby and we can highly recommend it for both a sweet and a savory pancake.
Serge's house (very friendly man) was super nice with the fully fenced garden (recommended for people with a dog) and we fully enjoyed the pool and the petanque court, as well as the covered seating area in the garden where it is wonderful was to have breakfast.

For example, we also went to the surprisingly beautiful Domme, a very pleasant town.
In la Roque-Gageac we did a boat trip along the castles which was also nice because our four-legged friend was allowed to join the boat.
Les Jardins d'eau was also well worth a visit.
We also took a walk with our four-legged friend around Lake Grolejac.

If we want to visit that region again in the future, we will undoubtedly first take a look at the Francevilla site.

Thank you. We had a wonderful holiday. Cessavilla was beautiful, well equipped and in the perfect location. We were only a couple but I can imagine it would be perfect for families, who would enjoy the petanque are and ping pong table in tbe garden. The pool is perfectly clean and a good size and the barbecue area was ideal.

Serge, the owner was very helpful and came to clean the pool a couple of times, but never disturbed our holiday. It was literally 5 minutes walk into the beautiful town centre of Sarlat but still felt peaceful and private. Having a car meant we had easy access to all of the other fantastic attractions of the Dordogne and surrounding area.

I will recommend it to friends and colleagues, especially those with families or groups of friends.
