About us

We are Marieke Mennes and Martijn de Graaf, the owners of FranceVilla. Marieke grew up in the Dordogne, and Martijn brings years of experience from the online vacation rental industry – the perfect combination to support both homeowners and guests. In 2025, we proudly took over FranceVilla from our parents (in-law) who successfully built the company since 2005. We spend several months each year in Southwest France and personally visit the homes we work with. That means we know the properties – and the region – inside and out.
