Chateaulette is a small castle (370 m2) for 15 persons located in an exceptional setting with a panoramic view of the Limousin countryside. The owners grew up there, their dad was an art enthusiast and connoisseur. The son has just renovated the castle together with his wife. There is a beautiful heated swimming pool (4x11m) overlooking the countryside with a pool house area where lunch can be served al fresco. The furniture is (good quality) brocante with contemporary touches. Walking distance from a nice restaurant ànd a lovely art museum with open gardens!

You will discover books in the library, a piano, the place is just full with history where it is good to stay with family and friends. Around the castle, a magnificent park with pétanque court and a majestic fountain.

Ground floor: large entrance hall, large fitted kitchen with fireplace, dining room, large living room, small living room with fireplace, bedroom (1 double bed 160), toilet. 1^st Floor: 6 bedrooms, 4 of which have private bathrooms (2 double beds 160, 1 double bed 180, 2 twin beds 180, 5 single beds), large bathroom with toilet. Central heating. Ping-pong and board games.

Outside

In the vast garden there is the new and beautiful swimming pool and a very nice terrace, where you can have your meals together with family or friends... very quiet but not too far from a pretty village...

We have now been back from Vicq-sur-Breuilh for a week and a half. We had a fantastic stay at Chateaulette. It started with an extremely friendly welcome from Olivier, who showed us around the garden and the house where he grew up. Oliver and Catherine live on the same property, but at a great distance, so there is plenty of privacy. We experienced our contact with them as very positive. They were there in the background: helpful without being intrusive. We could ask them anything.

The castle is beautiful and well cared for. What a space! The rooms are spacious and well cleaned. There is more than enough in the cupboards: kitchen utensils, crockery, glasses, books, puzzles, etc. We lacked nothing. The castle has also been furnished with care in terms of furniture. Moreover, Chateaulette is beautifully situated on a hill with panoramic views. You won't get tired of it. In short, a beautiful holiday spot!

I would also like to thank you for your help and advice with booking. We appreciate that you thought along with us and also that you finalized the price for us. We are satisfied with how everything turned out. Thanks!

If you would like to receive additional photos for the website, please let us know. There are already quite a few photos of Chateaulette on your website, but I may have some additional photos of details in the house and in the garden (e.g. the pool house). But maybe you think that's enough.
