Charming, completely new and very nicely furnished holiday home, ideally located close to Sarlat. This idyllic holiday home is located in the middle of nature and a stone's throw from the Dordogne river. This wonderful holiday home will be an oasis of peace for your holiday. Relax in the jacuzzi, go swimming close to Carsac, canoe on the Dordogne, book an optional massage... and many other possibilities. From season 2025 there will be a private swimming pool in your garden for you!

Interior

This lovely holiday home is divided over two floors: on garden level there is a beautiful living room with lounge, dining room, fitted kitchen, bar. There is also a separate toilet and a utility room/laundry room. Upstairs you will find a master bedroom with a double bed, a shower room with toilet, a second bedroom with another double bed and a third bedroom that offers a double possibility, with the choice of two separate beds (each 90 cm) or joined together (king size). These last two bedrooms can be used separately or as a family suite (they have a dividing door).

Outside

In the wooded garden, in the middle of nature, you can recharge your batteries. Numerous facilities are at your disposal: sun loungers, jacuzzi, garden furniture, covered terrace with table for outdoor lunch, barbecue, etc.

Surroundings

The beautiful centre of Sarlat-la-Canéda with its numerous restaurants and shops is a real ‘must’ for every visitor to the Dordogne and if you decide to rent this lovely holiday home, this town is just a short distance away. The beautiful towns of Roque-Gageac and Domme are also just a short distance from this holiday home. There is so much to see and do in the Dordogne that it is impossible to discover it all during one stay.

We found Fleur de Chataigne to be a lovely house, charming, carefully decorated and with a very nice view (there were 3 deer walking through the garden). It was clean and almost complete. Very friendly landlords. It happened to be very cold at the beginning of the week and they came immediately to turn on the (floor) heating. Super nice places in the immediate vicinity of course, in short we had a wonderful holiday week here! Thanks again for the tip about the sheep net, it worked fantastically.
