Four Saint Rabier
Four Saint Rabier is a romantic French holiday cottage for 4 people (2 adults and 2 children) with its own private swimming pool (9 x 5m), beautifully situated in a small hamlet close to Saint Rabier in the Dordogne.
Interior
Four Saint Rabier has an open plan kitchen with everything for your convenience, including oven, refrigerator, microwave and stove. There is a washing machine in the neat and comfortable bathroom. The beds are made for you when you arrive in this really very nice house with fireplace! Holidayhouse le Four has two bedrooms of which one is an open space with 2 x single bed. You need to go through this space to get to the master bedroom with a double bed.
Outside
The garden of 1500m2 is planted with many beautiful rose bushes. There is both a garden in front and behind the house and the meadows stretch out to the left and right. Two terraces both in front of the house and at the back of the house offer you the possibility to sit in the sun or in the shade. There is a nice fenced private pool, barbecue, garden furniture, umbrellas, deck chairs, parking.
Surroundings
If you sit at the side of Four Saint Rabier you have a look over the varied landscape of the Dordogne. It is a magnificent view and with some luck you will see deer walk in the valley at night. In the vicinity are many different attractions: including Hautefort Castle, the gardens of Terrasson, the caves of Montignac.
Activities
You can swim in the lake of Coucou and you have canoeing and kayaking opportunities on the river Vézère. In the vicinity are many cycling and hiking routes.
The owner of the house lives in the barn next to the house but does not overlook the pool nor the terraces. She is very kind and discrete and does not use the pool.
