La Lauzière
La Lauzière is a charming and characteristic 17th century family holiday house for 10 to 12 people with a beautiful private swimming pool and beautiful views over the hills. La Lauzière is located in the heart of the Perigord Noir between Terrasson and Montignac (Lascaux), 20 kilometers from Sarlat. Please note that the house is basic but has lots of charm.
Inside
On the ground floor is the living/dining room with beams, wooden floor, utility room and farmhouse kitchen with tiled floor and French doors to the garden. The sitting room is also on the ground floor and also has wooden floors and French doors to the terrace. The kitchen has facilities such as a fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. There is internet available and satellite TV, CD and stereo system.
Bedrooms/bathrooms:
On the ground floor is the first bedroom with a lits-jumeaux bed (2 x 0.90) and en-suite bathroom with shower and toilet. The second bathroom has a shower cubicle, bath and double washbasins. There is a separate toilet. On the first floor is the open study with a single bed. A second bedroom a lits-jumeaux bed (2 x 0.90), the third bedroom has three single beds, on the second floor a bedroom with two single beds and a bedroom with a double bed and its own bathroom (separate toilets). Cot available. The upstairs bathroom has a shower and there is a separate toilet.
Outside
The private garden has lawns, a terrace and a beautiful swimming pool (9 x 3) and table tennis. There is also garden furniture, a barbecue and parking space.
Surroundings
Lauzière is located 2 kilometers from the center of Saint Amand de Coly. Saint Amand de Coly belongs to the 151 most beautiful villages in France.
Restaurant - bar 2 kilometers away. Supermarkets for daily shopping 5 and 8 kilometers away. The medieval town of Terrasson, 8 kilometers away, is situated in a fairytale setting on the river Vézère. In Terrasson you will find all the shops you need. There are 5 large supermarkets. There are also several restaurants; in the old and new parts. Montignac, known for the Caves of Lascaux, is 5 kilometers away; the first caves where drawings of prehistoric man were found. Montignac is a pleasant town with many restaurants along the river and 2 supermarkets. At 20 kilometers drive you will find the capital of the Dordogne: Sarlat, a medieval town known for its atmosphere, food and buildings!

You can walk, cycle, horse ride, canoe on the Vézère. There are 6 golf courses within a radius of 50 kilometers.
