Mayrinha
Holiday home "Mayrinha" (5 bedrooms/5 bathrooms) is nestled in one of the most beautiful valleys of the Périgord. The old stone farmhouse is set in complete privacy on a 4000 m2 private site along a very quiet little D-road.
Interior
The ground floor of the house consists of a well-equipped kitchen, a large sun-drenched living room/dining room. There is a wood burning stove for the colder days. On the same level, you will also find a downstairs double bedroom with its own bathroom and a second double bedroom also with its own bathroom. This bedroom can only be reached by an outside door.
The first floor contains 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and 4 toilets. The renovated interior exudes elegant simplicity.
Exterior
The secluded back garden on the south west side of the house offers sun and shade and nicely filtered sunlight. It is the perfect place to enjoy a cool glass of wine and a good book. Enjoy a swim in the beautiful large private swimming pool (10 x 5 meters). The terrace at the front of the house is an ideal place for a drink, a meal or to just unwind. In the garden there is also a big terrace with a big dining table.
Environment
To the west is Rocamadour (19 km), which has been used by pilgrims for many centuries. It is one of the most visited tourist centers in France. Besides the Notre Dame Chapel and the famous Black Madonna, you will find other attractions such as the Monkey Forest and the Rocher des Aigles. Rocamadour is also known for its small goat cheeses. In Gramat (10 km) you can visit a zoo open all year round and the famous Gouffre de Padirac (7 km), a magnificent sequence of underground caves that you can discover by boat. 12 km north of the Dordogne, which stretches east and west, many opportunities for river activities await you again: canoeing, kayaking, swimming ... A number of villages in the region "Most beautiful villages of France" there are also to visit: Carennac (17 km), Loubressac (7 km) or Autoire (5 km) with its circus, its waterfalls and its breathtaking landscapes.
