In the heart of the Périgord Noir and close to unmissable tourist sites such as Sarlat, Lascaux, Les Eyzies, Le Bugue, we welcome you to this lovely property situated in a huge private garden. Close to restaurants and French bakeries and with an excellent service on arrival by the very charming French couple Serge and his wife. You will be seduced by the calm, the conviviality and the peace of this little heaven in France… starting season 2025 the pool will be heated!

The new swimming pool is open from April to October and the playground will delight everyone, especially the children and young adults. But also the grown-ups will thoroughly enjoy the outside kitchen, the space around and in the house. Young adults: you can chill in the “cave” under the house with your own private music and/or movie to watch!

If nature is generous, you can enjoy fresh vegetables from the garden, the orchard and fresh eggs from the chicken!

Inside

Although the inside is a bit old-fashioned, the house is super clean and well cared for and the owners really want to give our clients the service they diserve. At the moment the kitchen is kind of “vintage”, there are two living rooms, one next to the kitchen and the other one downstairs : “the cave”. The beds are small but of good quality (3 x double bed, 1 bunk bed and one sofa bed in the cave). There is a bathroom on the ground floor and there is a shower room in the garage.

Outside

Huge very well for cared garden with private drive-way and very nice outside kitchen right beside the pool area (with stove/barbecue and everything you need). Sergetta is situated in La Terrasse, a little lieu-dit only 1 km from Le Bugue, a very charming village in the Dordogne. In the garden an outside billiard and ping-pong table and for the young ones a small play-ground.

Surroundings

Le Bugue is only 1.5 km, or a few minutes away, and this is again very close from the beautiful "capital" of the prehistoric site Les Eyzies de Tayac. Away from all the hustle and yet close to all the shops and attractions of the Dordogne.

Attention : outside July and August the price is based on max 6 ps. if you are more you pay 75,- euros pp extra per week.

My husband and I, together with our dog, thoroughly enjoyed the house, the huge garden, the lovely swimming pool and the outdoor kitchen. The garden is completely fenced. The interior of the house is a bit dated, beds a bit short but everything was there. Owners very friendly. Le Bugue and many supermarkets nearby. Highly recommended!

We had a lovely time. The villa location was perfect, and Serge was a very helpful host. There are tiny things that could be done - storage is minimal and the information given about the area could be improved- but it’s a lovely house with facilities just as described. And the view from the outdoor dining area is beautifully rural for such a convenient town location.

We had a very nice, wonderful holiday. The house was perfect and Serge and Marie were super nice. The house was equipped with all amenities, especially near the pool, and everything was super clean. The dogs also had a great time. Beautiful garden and nice neighbors on both sides. We all really enjoyed it and definitely want to come back next year. We still have to check the dates for next year, but then we will definitely book again.

Here is our experience in the beautiful holiday home Sergetta. The house is in a beautiful location, we found it very comfortable and it has everything you need. To our surprise, everything was on one level and that was actually very nice. And the cozy and beautiful design of the rooms made you feel at home.

The owners Marie and Serge were super friendly and helpful and welcomed us very warmly. There were eggs and fruit in the kitchen for us and we received an extensive tour from them. And when our car broke down in Le Bugue (while getting croissants and bread), Marie immediately came to help. Even on a cold evening, they were kind enough to light the fireplace and give tips so that we could light it ourselves the next evening. By the way, this has only happened twice because the weather has otherwise been beautiful, and that for the last 2 weeks in September.

We really enjoyed our holiday, the house with a lovely swimming pool and the beautiful Dordogne made it complete.

As you have already seen, we have booked another location with you for next year.

We wanted to come back again to see the Dordogne from the other side and the Remietta holiday home seemed like a nice location to do that. Thank you for the welcome gift, that is very kind of you. We are already looking forward to our next holiday.

We had a super, wonderful holiday at Sergetta. Really everything you can think of was present in the house. We have only been inside to sleep, shower and for the dishwashers ;-). Furthermore, a lot of outdoor living on the fantastic terrace, by the pool and the garden around it. What a little paradise. No nuisance to local residents. And the 2 dogs that were with us also had a great time.

Serge and Marie are a lovely host and hostess. Beautiful people with delicious fresh products from their garden. Very cordial, not pushy.

In short, it was a great holiday on Sergetta and the area / the Dordogne is beautiful.

Sergetta is a nice big house with a vintage decoration. The surface of the gardens around the house is enormous. The equipment of the gardens, the house and the garden house where the outdoor kitchen is located is very extensive.
