We, the van den Brink and Nijhuis family, would like to thank you again for your helpfulness during our stay in Labelle in September 2020 in France.

With 5 adults and 2 small children, we enjoyed this beautiful and very clean detached house. The house is located on a dead end road, in the 2.5 weeks of our stay only 2 x someone drove past. The 4 spacious bedrooms, 3 of which are located above each other, ensured that everyone had their own place. Our 4 year old grandson was delighted with the room with the bunk beds and the baby cot for the youngest was clean and sturdy. And then another 3 bathrooms; then your privacy is really guaranteed.

Our cooking-loving party was very pleased with the well-equipped kitchen with plenty of space, nobody got in each other's way there.

And the living room was very cozy because of that beautiful stone wall, characteristic of houses in this region. There is a locker with baskets of toys and puzzles for children. The large terrace at the rear of the house has 2 separate tables with at least 10 chairs and a large, electrically operated awning. And when it got too hot for us in the sun at the back of the house, we moved to the front in the shade.

For parents with small children, it is reassuring to know that the pool is gated, with a special lock on the entrance gate. Here too, plenty of sunbeds and easy chairs. The huge garden / meadow behind and next to the house is a true play paradise for children. There is a landscaped jeu de boules court and a large table tennis table. In the chest in the kitchen are table tennis bats and badminton rackets. Of course the BBQ is also included. What a great house!

We didn't feel like going back home at all. When we were just on our way home, our daughter and son-in-law broke down with the car. Our departure day was Saturday when all garages in France are closed. There was nothing to do but wait until Monday. The question was where we could stay with 2 small children until then. Fortunately, Thijs and Lydia, in consultation with the English-speaking caretaker of the house, quickly offered a welcome solution; we were allowed to return to Labelle and stay in the house longer. In the days that followed, they called daily to see how we were doing and whether they could be of any help to us. They also helped us more than excellently with the settlement. We would like to express our appreciation for this very customer-friendly and helpful approach: Thijs and Lydia, thank you again and we will definitely come back to one of your homes !!

We loved this rental: it was very clean when we arrived, quality linen and towel service, very clean pool too and ultra-relaxing location. The 2nd refrigerator was very handy in the heat.
An idea for improvement? a shower next to the pool, and also a fan in the bedroom at the top (NOTE FROM FRANCEVILLA: THE OWNER WILL BE TOLD TO PROVIDE ONE)

Yes of course you can use the photos,  I've added one more.  The house was great, if I could suggest a welcome book with basic instructions on the house like , pool lights, bbq details, some better instructions to the house as the GPS coordinates only take you to  Nabirat etc that might be helpful to guests and stop any unnecessary phone calls to Mirriam, who was great by the way. All round a great holiday.

We have not downloaded our pictures yet.  The location of the Villa was excellent, as it's the last house before the forest there is no passing traffic other than the odd runner, we expected peace and quiet but this was ideal.  The other area the Villa stood out for us was in how well stocked the kitchen was.  We have had rentals in the past where there were simply not enough pots and pans, but this kitchen was very well stocked.  Finally I would compliment David the key holder.  We had some issues with the septic tank which was bad luck, but he was very responsive to all our needs.

Yes that would be good. We had an absolutely wonderful stay and were very sad to leave.
