(09-2021) Dear,
we enjoyed the stay!
It was a quiet area, we were able to experience the silence again. You can immediately start a short walk nearby because in the area there is a grove and fields where you can walk through. The domain, the pool and the house were clean. The kitchen is very well equipped, also for hobby cooks. There are sharp knives, a toaster, oven, microwave, salad spinners, storage boxes, bread slicer, lots of cutlery and plates, ... you would not think it possible, in fact everything is there. The rooms in the house were spacious and pleasant. In the bedroom with 4 beds you have to bend down a bit to get to the bathroom, but that also makes it charming again.
We have been looking for downsides but actually found none. For some people it may be a bit annoying that you always have to take the car to eg. to go to a village or to take a long walk. There are bicycles available, which creates opportunities that we have not used.
Highly recommended and worth repeating
Regards,
Ingrid, Jan, Greet, Kristine and Wim

(08-2021) Dear Thijs and Lydia,
We had 2 wonderful weeks in Maussec. A great house where we had a great time with 3 families. Peace, space, freedom and fully equipped! Also thanks to the managers Ruud and Gerda for the good care and tips during our stay!
Attached are some more photos.

We were very well received by the caretakers of the house, the location is top, we feel totally disconnected, with the large garden, fields and forest around. Very well equipped house, the weather was not really with us during this week, but with a few games and activities, we felt good there. A big thank-you !

(08-2020) Dear Lydia,
what a great house this is. Much nicer than in the pictures in my opinion. Great administrators. Friendly, helpful but discreet. The salt water pool was also a pleasant surprise. I was always afraid that such a pool would feel just like the sea, but it is not salty in taste and finally no children with ear infections. The beds are of very good quality, very spacious bedrooms and beautiful bathrooms. And then that kitchen, what a joy to cook there. Everything is there, even an ice cream maker. Children enjoyed the games room, trampoline, on-site bicycles, the secret swing in the forest and the great pool. Nothing but praise for this beautiful house.

Extremely spacious house on a large, unfenced site with a suitable large swimming pool in the middle of the fields and in an extremely quiet location. Ideal for multiple families or the "big" family who are looking for little action but want more relaxation or just want to spend time together. Super equipment in the kitchen and for indoor and outdoor games (table football, billiards, balls, games) - practically everything. Comfortable seats seats inside and out. Administrator very friendly and discreet in the background. Bicycle fleet on site only partially ready for use.

(09-2019) Dear Lydia,
What a great place. We had such a brutiful time. Lex was very kind and let us in a bit early to enjoy a dip in the pool. We had two sets of family stay with us and loved the great games room (especially table football and darts). The kitchen is amazing with so many utensils to cook up a storm and good little BarB Q outside. It was so comfortable in lounge and external seating. Also we went twice to the Restaurant in the village La Plaisance which was brilliant. Great service and great food. Also loved market on Monday in Miramont-de-Guyenne. Such a friendly place. We went on several Rando walks - get list at tourist office in Miramont-de-Guyenne. Saw Duras chateau which is brilliant and very diverse. Also go to Bonaguil which has an amazing history and enjoy the lunch by the river below. So many good places to visit and never a dull moment. We would love to come back but since we come from Melbourne Australia that will be hard.
Thanks so much Vicky and Peter
